London Summer Internship Accommodation

Monkeys,

No doubt others on here will be in a similar situation:

I have got an IB Summer Analyst position coming up and need to think about getting accommodation sorted before everything decent gets booked up. I'll be working in the City of London so ideally want something reasonably central or with good access on the tube.

Does anybody have any insights into places where summer interns end up staying in London?

Where are the best places (location/quality/value-wise) and are there any places in particular which should be avoided?

Thanks in advance.

around London Bridge would probably be good for you. Not many interns live in the West due to price and perceived "travel distance". Easiest is to just come to London and use spareroom or gumtree and just visit a few places over your first two days, surely you will find something.

A few of the university dorms are also vacant over the summer (e.g. LSE)

Cheers for the advice GBB_19. I have had a look at some of the university dorms, and seems like it may be the easiest option as utilities/ wifi/ etc. are all included. Most of the places seem to be £230/week upwards though.

BUMP. Any more advice out there?
