London Summer Recruiting wrapup? Stats? How'd you find it

what made recruiting very weird this year was that unlike previous years, my first internship in IB put me on a path for IB way more than it did for markets and AM (which was what I was trying to break into)

I did a very low-level IB role last summer and I thought I'd be able to use it to break into S&T but every bank that I applied to (where you could apply to up to 2-3 divisions) rejected me for S&T, AM, ER etc. and only took me on for IB even if my CV wasn't tailored to the role

So unlike in the past where you could move around and most divisions were p open (and I interviewed for a lot of them last year), I couldn't break into any of them this year which I found p unusual.
