Well, don't they have to control the inflation going on in their economy right now?

Trust was voted out of office because the plans she had was not popular, and did not right, right?

What would be the solutions UK can explore?

Fiscal responsibility. Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt are amongst the 'safest' pair of hands the Tory Party can offer. In fact Sunak campaigned and literally predicted all of the things that would happen under Liz Truss' Thatcherite/Reaganite tax cuts. However this comes at a cost of continued spending cuts, greater austerity and higher tax rises in an attempt to balance the UK books.

Just Europoors being poor.

The wealth gap between the richest US states and richest European states is now larger than the gap between the richest European states and emerging markets like Poland.

In other words, the UK is like an emerging market relative to the US.

GDP Per Capita (2022):

New York State: $102k

United Kingdom: $47k

Poland: $19k

This is not an apples to apples comparison as you're comparing the richest US state to whole countries - obviously the picture will be distorted. US as a whole would be around $69k GDP per capita which is still higher than the UK but expected from the world's wealthiest economy. Can you even find Poland on the map?

Why is it not apples-to-apples? I am comparing the richest US to the richest European states. New York has a population of 20m and would be the world's 10th largest economy if it were independent. Economically it's very similar to the UK in terms of being focused on professional / financial services. If I was going to use the entire US economy as a reference point, it would be more appropriate to compare it to the Eurozone or the EU.

Agreed, the lifestyle in London is significantly better if you're coming from means, and work a high paying Banking/PE job.  The culture is also easier to adjust too.  For me, a person of South Asian origin who went to boarding schools in Continental Europe before coming to the US for Undergrad, I'd always take London over NYC.  That doesn't apply for the rest of Europe though.

Funny thing here is if you ask any American they wouldn’t do the opposite
