Longterm HC v M&A

Hey guys, Im in a real dillema of choosing how I want to pivot as an analyst and Id love to hear some opinions.

BB, not the strongest HC player in the game, but definitely not the weakest, and solid m&a deal flow all year round.

I favored HC from interest and speaking to the team, also seems like it has a better work life balance than M&A. That being said, M&A would definitely provide the best growth opportunities and potential exits.

Given the opportunity to join M&A I find it really hard to decline, even though HC was my original first option.

Being in my position, what would be your game plan? Some help would be really appreciated.
