I am moving to NYC from July 1st- Sept. 30th for my Bank's training program. I will be working in Midtown East and I would like an easy commute and a fully furnished place. I don't want to do a room share with a random. I'm currently still in in school in the South, so I will not be able to check the place out before I lease. I am concerned about scams. My budget is 2k, but I really hope to spend closer to $1,500. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
