Low GPA No internetships random European school

I was wondering what I could do to increase my possibilities getting an internship at a BB

My profile: GPA: 3.3 (study delayed by a year, health issues and depression)

What I could do and further profile:

Try to get an internship at a well known HFT who does not look at grades that much but more through interviewing etc.

Still have the chances to increase GPA to 3.60 by working really hard on my current course and thesis

Could also study between this course and thesis and try to increase GPA to 3.80 by working really hard besides current course and thesis by taking 2 extra semesters (in total 4 courses)

Summer school well known university (Harvard, LSE, etc)

No relevant internship, but some startup work expierence

Played poker on a high level

Dont have any networks with BB

Dont know much about banking to be honest

Could decide to do masters in Finance (ranked 25th worldwide), but have been told a masters in Finance is useless?

Could do a masters in international management (ranked 7th worldwide), maybe do MBA after some work experience

Could do a pre-master Econometrics next year and then 6 months after start with a master in Econometrics

Know its a silly post but truly dont know what to do and what is best

Also one more question: do BB save your resume and look at it when you apply at a later moment in time?

Just settle for the middle class life and try to increase your self-image in other ways than pursuing a job you don't know much about. Finance is not gonna make you happy.

I dont want middle class, I already have much more money than the average household. To be honest this reply makes me very anxious and sad :(.

You have a good point and to be honest I fully agree with you. Its weird though because this comes in flows. Few years ago during a school interview I said I would just like a relaxing life, standard family, etc. But things have changed.

hey man. i am still in university. also played poker at a relatively high level (tourney donk) I am sure if you played poker at a high level, you are a somewhat competitive person. So you should definitely try finance. figure out which sector (trading vs banking) you want to pursue and leverage your school experience or just cold email them to get face time with ppl. my story: worse grades, interning right now at AM doing trading and networking into interviews for s&t at BBs. so it's definitely doable for you.
