Was wondering if anyone knows of any pure boutique rx shops (preferably in NYC) that are more lowkey and aren't your more popular Moelis' and whatnot. Banks like Carl Marks, Ducera, etc. (to clarify I know Moelis does much more than rx but just wanted to make a point that I want to know of ones that aren't as well known)

SSG, Millstein & Co, Miller Buckfire (dead), GLC, Gordian, Imperial. Rothschild in NYC offers mainly RX and some M&A; but is much stronger in RX.
The pure boutique model is challenging since there are no counter-cyclical areas of the firm to counter business downturns, etc.
