LSE isppe or Warwick Econ

I got an offer from lse for international social and public policy with economics and warwick economics and ive heard uni over course but since warwick is a target already anyway, im not sure if this still applies as Ive struggled to find people from the lse course in ib on linkedin and theres plenty from warwick econ. would really appreciate any advice if possible.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Warwick Economics is a strong contender for breaking into investment banking (IB), especially in the UK. Warwick is widely recognized as a target school for IB, with a significant number of alumni successfully landing roles in top banks. The Economics program at Warwick is particularly well-regarded for its rigorous curriculum and strong placement track record.

On the other hand, while LSE is undoubtedly a prestigious institution and a top target for IB, the specific course you mentioned—International Social and Public Policy with Economics—may not carry the same weight for IB recruiting as Warwick Economics. As you've noted, it can be challenging to find alumni from that specific LSE program in IB roles, which might indicate that the course isn't as directly aligned with the skills and knowledge typically sought by investment banks.

Given that Warwick Economics is already a target program with a proven track record for IB placements, it seems like the safer and more strategic choice if your primary goal is to break into investment banking.
