Lucky Situation

I'll try to make this short and sweet:

So, my boss from my last internship (PE at a top 3 US BB firm) introduced me through email to a friend of hers who works at a major hedge fund now but worked in the IB at GS for a while. I was just asking him general career advice and what ib interviews are like for analyst positions (I'm a rising senior) and other stuff like that but we had to end the call a little short since he had a meeting to run to. I heard from an associate that works under my old boss that this guy is testing the water with me to see if he should pass on my resume to colleagues back at GS or to people at his HF. The call tonight is only supposed to be about 15 min. So, what would you all recommend I bring up in a casual conversation with him that would make me stand out?

In our talk yesterday, he pretty much got my elevator speech and knows what is on my resume and we talked about why I was interested in financial services, etc. The only thing I could think of asking him is if he could give me a practice interview so I know: A) What an ib interview is really like, and B) I figure if we have a practice interview and if we both treat it seriously and he likes me, he'll hopefully forward my info onwards

Any help is appreciated.
