M&A Case Study at Ericsson (M&A Professional) - help

Hi all,

I will have a case study at Ericsson within their M&A Professional department and wonder what I should expect?

I have around 1 year of IB experience from a BB and come from a target school (exhausted and really want to leave IB, having worked +100h every week since start).

What do the typical cases look like at the corporate M&A departments? I am imagining an acquisition buy-side case where I may be asked to present whether it would be a good / bad acquisition to buy firm x (if accretive etc.) and explain the rationale. Afraid they would ask me to conduct a full merger modell between two firms as I have not that much M&A experience (been heavily involved in ECM).

Also, would much appreciate if there are any case studies you could recommend / pm that may be good to look at which might be similar among corporate M&A gigs?

Thanks a lot! Deeply appreciated.

Best,
Analyst
