Specifically speaking of the Visa IPO announcement and it being the largest in history, doesn’t it give somewhat of a false view of what’s going on? With everything else being relatively bad, commodity prices going through the roof, inflation on the rise, unemployment high and growth not yet happening. Do such mergers and public announcements spur a confidence in the market should be expected, how about the consumer? Also, with the some local banks failing due to this whole mess, what’s going to happened to the so called community bank initiative that’s been going on for the past couple of years with the emergence of commerce bank ect.

I have been a bit miss informed and didnt really care until something came up...so i figured I should ask
