M&A vs. Private Debt Internship

Hi monkeys!

I have a tough choice to make, this is why I'm asking for some Chimp wisdom. I'm finishing my studies at a French top B-School and previously did a 1 year internship in a French PE fund. My short-term goal is to find an Investment Banking position in London.

I have two internship offers in my hands and am not sure on which one to choose.

First a French MM Boutique M&A internship and second a Private Debt internship in a London-based Asset Management firm.

I already have a "Buy-side" experience so I think the first one would teach me more, but I have a feeling the second one would help me step a foot in the City.

My question is, what do you think is more important between position and location in my case?

I thank you all
