I'm currently looking to join one of these groups and am trying to weigh the pros and cons. Both fall under Macquarie's IB group but what from what I hear, the Advisory folks get larger bonuses and work more hours. If that is true, how big is the gap between the two? Also, how does the work culture differ? Any insight is much appreciated.
