Mannerisms and Being ‘Polished’
One thing that I've associated with high finance whether it be IB, AM, S&T, etc is that people are very well spoken, don't say "um" or "like" excessively and are overall very polished and incredibly well mannered. Not too sure if this stereotype is true at all since I'm just an outsider looking in. If the stereotype is to some extent true how does someone improve their mannerisms to become more "polished"?
