MasterCard to IB?

Hey guys, would like your input and want to apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. I'm a senior econ major and haven't had too much luck with full-time opps in IB. In the process of interviewing for MasterCard and was wondering what the possibilities are like coming out of a 2 year Associate Analyst program going into Investment Banking. Promise I'm not trolling, I'm genuinely curious. I want nothing more than to pursue banking, and I know that very clearly, but will the odds be stacked even further against me if i were to pursue this MasterCard opp? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Look at consulting as well, they pull some people from card co's

I was looking at consulting also, but I really don't feel like that's for me. Truthfully the doors that Banking opens is second to none. I'm not 100% on whether or not I would want to be a career banker or move into PE or HF, but I know I want to do one of those three. Any other insights?

Is this position for Advisors? or just straight MC?
