Masters in Industrial Engineering--career prospects?
I currently attend a good target school and would hopefully like to get hired full-time as an IBD analyst at a major BB bank. In the event that I can't break into BB IBD, I'm thinking of getting a masters in industrial engineering. Does anybody know how well my overall career prospects increase with this masters in Industrial engineering? Could I get back into IBD, S&T, consulting or even corporate strategy? I'm currently an econ major and latin american studies minor attending an Ivy-equal undergrad (think Stanford, MIT, Chicago, Duke, etc.). Would it be possible to start as an associate since I have a masters?
