Max. age to become an Analyst? (Unofficially)
Have you witnessed people going into banking as Analysts with an age above 25/26?
Did they have problems with age gaps/ hours?
When is it to late to become a big hitter in this rat race?
I've had an intern work with me at a BB that was 26. Its pretty normal for people to be older in Europe/ some people were into sports and had a career change etc.

Normal in Europe, only acceptable in US if military or pro sportsball; Centerview loves hiring ex-military (usually because that personality makes the best long term banker).
not true. I got into IB as an A2 at 28yo. I turned 29 2 months later.

Someone on my team at an EB / MM was 28 in my class. She previously worked in residential real estate sales for six years.
Not a big deal if you think of it from a 2-3 year lens: you would be an associate by 27/28/29 and actually a couple years younger than post-MBA associates who will be starting at the same level you will be at in 2-3 years.
Work backwards.. 10 years of work experience (~32) is a lot .. likely not breaking in. 7 years (~29) is still quite a lot of time, but not impossible.. 5 years (-27) is not too long..
