MBA for FO or Progress in MO?

Non-Target and about a year and some change out of school.

So I jus landed an MO role at an top asset management firm. Intially wanted to pursue an full time MBA to go into IB as an associate but randomly got this position and are now considering whether putting up all the cash for a full time MBA is still worth it.

Firm will pay for some credits for an MBA, but would like some help to decide whether to slowly progress in MO role to director, try to pursue an FO role through a part-time MBA (not necessarily banking), or cough up the cash and go full time into an MBA.

Honest opinions help thanks.
