I am starting my MBA in August at a Top10 B-school and planning on pursuing investment banking. I know few associates at majority of the bulge brackets through friends, and planning on doing informationals with them. When do you guys think is the best time to contact them? Is now the right time or should I wait until October when MBA students typically do informationals?

Wait till closer to the school recruiting timeline. Sometimes banks are quick to cut you off after first informational. So if you expect these guys to support you, you need to get it before you probably meet with the recruiting team from your school.
