McGill BCom vs Bocconi BIEF for French student

Hi all,

My brother (French 18yo) is deciding between McGill BCom and Bocconi BIEF for his undergrad. He's also waiting for LSE & UCL, but way too expensive. He's interested in Finance & Consulting and would like to open most options for Masters, possibly interested by Columbia, MIT MFin, Oxford/LSE/Imperial or French MiM (HEC, ESSEC).

What would you advise?

Currently in one of the UK masters program mentioned about and can confirm there are both candidates from Canada (not Mcgill) and Bocconi

would not recommend Canada just because the competitiveness of IB (c.100 seats) in all canada given the limited market. being able to speak french in london or europe during recruiting is a plus and market is also bigger.

To offer a different perspective: a lot of mcgill commerce students don't speak French, being able to speak both English and French opens doors to Montreal as well, which doesn't have much competition outside mcgill students.

However, before you make a decision search up "Montreal Winters", I'd take bocconi / anywhere in Europe over that...
