MD forwarded resume without connecting
Cold emailed an MD asking to connect, who forwarded my info to the hiring manager (didn’t speak on phone at all with the MD). Does this actually do anything in terms of landing an interview?

Resume to co head once and he just forwarded it to hr and I got a first round afterwards
I have an Md who keeps sending me kids to talk to or Asks me to ask an analyst to talk to them. He has no idea that if he really likes someone he should talk to them and then send to HR. MD referral often goes through a different channel than junior referrals.
MDs really be living on a different planet lol
