MD Salary plus bonus

how much do md's usually make, is in the middle to upper millions. how much does it differ from a boutique than in a BB, how long does it usually take to get there, and do most people that go into ibanking have a planned endgame of reaching the level of MD

well I'm not in IB so take the following with a grain of salt: length wise expect like 3 years as an analyst, 4-5 years as an associate, and then 4-5 years as a VP. And no most people go into IB for the exit opportunities.

2 years analyst 2 years MBA 3-4 years associate 4-5 years VP (7 AT MOST)

A lot of people burn out before they make MD. There are people that like quit 6 months into analyst.
