Modeling Help for Water and Solar business
I have been tasked to build some models for a water and solar division of an utility company and I need some guidance on where to start and what are some the core drivers I better not ignore. The deadline is very short so any help is greatly appreciated.
Revenues = Availability x Installed capacity x Number of operating hours x Price (fixed or adjusted to inflation for e.g.) Fixed costs are driven by your capacity (MW) Variable costs are driven by your output (MWh)
Don't forget to include any downtime due to planned maintenance
