Moelis MENA Presence

Hi monkeys, I’ll be joining Moelis in the near term (in the US) and was hoping to gain further insight into the firm’s presence in the Middle East. I understand Moelis Dubai has always been very strong, and the firm has a growing presence in KSA given Ken’s relationship with MBS and the new office in Riyadh. Given my background and personal goals, would love to one day try to transfer over. Was hoping to get any insight into Moelis’ presence in the region, how the experience compares to competitors and if an internal transfer is something the firm may be open to down the line (in a few years). Thanks in advance!

Moelis is actively growing the KSA office and internal transfers are quite common (from/to the middle east). So you should be able to transfer if you wish to do so after 2-3 years in the US
