Morgan Stanley big issues -- Can anyone confirm?

Read this article today from WSJ mentioning the huge cultural issues at MS with heavy promotion of DEI. Any thoughts from those on the inside or who have any insight on the topic as to what's been happening recently vs. the past few years?

Agreed! The alarming disproportionate white women they have as diversity, most of them come from privileged backgrounds.

But let me correct you on one point - LGBT is actually not considered a viable diversity entry at all, especially for their diversity recruitments. Only Black and Hispanic / Latino are. Having used to work there, there was once I was teaching a diversity hire on what to do… she handed me her notebook and told me to write all the instructions down for her. I chuckled and left.
