DEI candidates are weeping rn
Before we throw some shit, don’t forget who your DEI MVPs are: vast majority are women (especially white), black / Hispanic / indigenous males, and LGBTQ.
Agreed! The alarming disproportionate white women they have as diversity, most of them come from privileged backgrounds.
But let me correct you on one point - LGBT is actually not considered a viable diversity entry at all, especially for their diversity recruitments. Only Black and Hispanic / Latino are. Having used to work there, there was once I was teaching a diversity hire on what to do… she handed me her notebook and told me to write all the instructions down for her. I chuckled and left.
