Anyone know anything about this group? This is classed under IBD at all other BBs, but MS segments GCM from IBD classic. Anyone know how comp is in this department?

Is Lev Fin in GCM at MS? So an offer for IBD couldn't go to Lev Fin?
Yes to both.
Bump. Wondering if restructuring is also in GCM at MS or if they even have a restructuring group.
Look for a post on GS restructuring and APAE's comment on that. I imagine that applies to MS too.
They don't have a restructuring group, but they do have 1 MD who sits in M&A and handles all of the restructuring at a senior level in conjunction with GCM -- mostly refinancing / exit financing. Some advisory, but once filing occurs difficult for MS to advise due to conflicts.
