Most inefficient parts of IB

Trying to figure out if my experience (MM) is normal when it comes to how inefficiently juniors / mid-levels spend their time.

A few examples from my end:

  • We own the full NDA process (marking up, sending to counterparties, chasing signatures, etc.
  • Every 6 weeks we manually update our PE buyer database by checking 400+ websites, LinkedIn, CapIQ, etc… to make sure info isn’t stale
  • We manually pull and format comps and precedents for every new deal, even if we’ve already done similar pulls before

Just trying to figure out what’s normal and what’s just bad process. Curious if everyone has a similar experience. What are the most inefficient tasks that drive you crazy?
