Most people seems fake

This is my first internship ever, so I don't know if the culture in big banks is like this, but a lot of people I meet just behave like if they are consistently acting (as if they were NPCs). They seem to only give fake laughs and smiles, idk it feels weird.

Is it just me?

Controversial

This is all because of those damn yee yee ass liberals. Back in the old days, when everybody in the bullpen was white, protestant and came over on the Mayflower, we could all act like fraternity brothers. Nowadays, since they imported a bunch of Africans, Muslims, Indians, Hispanics and whatnot oddities who did NOT attend Eton/Rosey/Exeter/Andover and did NOT graduate summa cum laude from Wharton/Yale/Dartmouth/Oxford/Cambridge and did NOT have vacation property in the Hamptons and Nantucket, it tends to get a little more difficult to speak to coworkers about "railing broads and snorting rails tonight" when said broads are within earshot.

Homie I’m an Indian that is at Wharton, will be graduating summa cum laude, and am in a fraternity… oh wait I should’ve looked at the username before typing this response
