Moving Across The Country for a LMM Boutique IB

Title. I have 3 years of experience in FP&A and have an offer at a LMM boutique out west; I'm originally from the Midwest. I am non-target and didn't have a perfect UGPA so my options are quite limited at this point and I'm just trying to break in. Options in my home city are very minimal. However, the offer would immediately increase my pay by about 80%.

While interviewing I was dead set on making this move, but now I feel I have cold feet. For context, my wife is a SAHM and our son was born 9 months ago. I'm nervous to uproot our family away from our support system to a new city that we have no ties to. My wife says she's on board because it will improve career prospects for me long-term, but a part of me feels guilty.

Has anyone moved their young family to a new city for an "okay" IB role? Obviously it's much different than just moving yourself, so would love to hear anyone's perspective / advice who has been in this situation.

Thanks!
