Moving cities post-MBA
How easy is it for post-MBA Associates to move cities? Assuming you're in a non-NY city (think SF/LA/HOU/CHI) but want to move to another non-NY city? Or move to NY?
Is this move easy to do?
Is it easy to make it whether you're an Associate or VP?
Is it the case that there are so many banks who need bankers that it's not difficult as long as you go to an equally-reputable bank, have not been fired, can speak English, etc. Or is it difficult?
What has your experience been in making this move?
I think it's easy to move around promotion time if your company is supportive of internal mobility.
