Moving from MO Capital Markets to Corporate Banking

I'm debating if i should take a MO role in Corporate Banking, who works exclusively with Corporate Bankers, while i ultimately want to get into Corporate Banking FO.

However, how likely is it to get into Corporate Banking front office from the middle office? I currently work in Commercial Banking front office but i'm not sure if the exposure to capital markets can help to make that transition.
