MS Culture Preppy?

I recently accepted an offer for MS summer 2023 and I did no networking (got very lucky lol) so I know little about the culture. I've been trying to read previous threads to learn more about the culture and found mixed stuff. On one hand, I keep on reading that MS is very preppy/fratty, but on the other hand I read that most of the interns and analysts are filled from diversity recruiting, which I would assume is not a very preppy group of people (also highly doubt this since I did no networking and I'm nondiverse). I'm just trying to get a general feel of the firm so I'll kind of know what to expect next summer since I got lucky to even get an interview/offer at MS.

Seems pretty fratty. Signed my 2023 at an ISG division in MS so I've networked/spoken with ~30 people across divisions and a lot of people seem to fit that stereotype. I will say though that out of IBD, GCM and S&T the "fratty" kind of guys were in GCM in my experience.

Yale DKE = Nerds, so the conclusion is that IBD are nerds and GCM are fratty people.
