MS GCM vs CS IBDM
I get offers from both MS GCM and CS IBDM (semester internship), but I'm struggling with choosing one.
Which one is better option in terms of exit opportunity and salary? Do you think off-cycle internship also give a high rate of return offer compared to summer internships? Since this is my last year, return offer is my priority.
Also is it possible that I switch over to Ibd after enough experience at GCM? Some people say yes, but the others show pretty negative response on this question.
So, please help me out. I feel like I'm stuck
Are they both internships? Or is the MS GCM a full-time offer?
they are all internships
Budd i think this depends on location as well (i.e. US vs UK vs HK/SG vs Korea). Best to check with HR / people who have done it before.
what is IBDM? is it the same as normal IBD (investment banking division)
It’s IBCM - ib + capital markets
