Don't completely take my word for it, because different interviewers have different styles. But expect a combo of fit and technicals. You are likely to receive these fit questions: Why MS? Why IBD? What do you know about the firm? What groups are you interested in? Also, know the financial statements and how they are related. Knowing the details of different valuation techniques would be good. I would practice answers to these questions. If you have previous finance job or extracurricular experience, they may pull a question from you resume.

For SAs, the interviews are fairly straightforward. What I feel differentiates candidates (aside from technical competence) is enthusiasm. You must show that you really, really want the job.

shakles are you from a target or non-target? It seems like a lot of ppl are lining up interviews already - I go to a target and our process is very structured with a specific date for on-campus interviews. Are banks looking at resumes on a rolling basis or do they do non-targets first? Just want to make sure I'm not missing out on something, thanks.
