MSFinance to IB?
Hey guys... so I'm a graduating senior who's gonna apply for MSF this Fall (yea I didn't apply for grad school last year because I want to get more exp and I'm doing it right now). I have heard that big banks like to put MSF students to S&T? Is that true? Does it mean that if I apply for S&T later, it's easier compared to IBD/ER or maybe middle office?
I have ER internship experience and i'm currently doing an M&A one. I read newspapers every day and follow the market and I also have a small stock account. But I didn't dig too much into S&T.
I know that there are not a lot of people in banks with a Masters degree...does it mean maybe I should try schools in the U.K.? Like IC/LSE/Warwick? Oxbridge is probably out of my league and I know that.
Thank you.
