My Motivation Is At An All Time High

Hi monkeys,

I’ve seen some IB/PE/Big 4 boys on here recently bitching about how they are unmotivated and sad, so I felt obligated to share my experience to ensure the prospective financiers get a truer lay of the land.

I am 18 months into my banking stint, and my motivation is at an all time high. I wake up deeply driven, even enraged, thinking about winning bake offs. Plus, if I miss work, China may win! And whoever wins banking wins it all!

Oh, banking making you sad? And let me guess, the pizza made you fat.

THANKS YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS MATTER

Funniest

I heard a UBS analyst advocating for "protected sleeping hours" of 4 hours each night!

These people who think they are perfect little angels must be FIRED and BANNED from the industry.

Otherwise we risk becoming like Anchorage, where employees take 2 lunch breaks every day and the only "deal flow" they know is the flow of salmon down the river each spring.

Thank you, Jeffery. We appreciate your dedication in combatting Chinese-world dominance. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Also, your career is looking robust, solid, on an upwards trajectory. Please keep us updated on your continued progress with new threads on any new motivation or insights you have.
