My Why IB story is cooking me

Right now, my why IB story is pretty tailored to a specific group... when I chat people not in that group, I still run through my background and what made me interested in banking and I typically close off my story by saying coverage in a specific group interests me etc etc

Should I switch my story when talking with people from other groups? I feel like my why IB answer is genuine but also not sure... any thoughts? thanks in advance
