Net salary before bonus
I know this has been discussed previously; however, with taxes always going up, never down, what is the current monthly net for analysts making a $60K base salary? Also, approximately how much is taken out for a medical/dental plan?
Thanks in advance for your input.
Medical/Dental insuriance is free at most banks. I.E. you don't have to bite out of your 60k. Withholding calculator: http://www.yourmoneypage.com/withhold/fedwh1.cgi
I made about 60K base two years ago (as an engineer, not a banker). My takehome was about $3800 per month ($13XX every two weeks) after taking out $100 per pay check for 401K contributions. Free medical/dental etc... If your living in NYC I would expect a little less with the city taxes and all.
Do bankers get paid on a bi-weekly basis or do we only get a paycheck at the end of every month? How does this work for summer analysts?
