Recruiting and Networking Help

Hi guys, I'm currently in my final year of my math bachelor, my GPA is a 4.0/4.0 and I'm in the honors program at my university with a strong focus on financial math. I'd like to be an investment banking analyst after I graduate, however, I've no experience due to my degree but I've completed all the investment banking and excel courses on theforage. I've applied to a few summer internships and analyst positions but I have never made it to the interview stage. Is there something I'm doing wrong? For example, not having sufficient experience in my CV or my cover letter not being compelling enough (my cover letter follows the format Morgan Stanley advise). Any advice is much appreciated.
