So I worked PWM one summer with an alumni from my school. He was roommates with an IBD MD at a MM, and he said he would introduce me. I already have a job, I'm just looking to build my network. He ever put me in touch, so I requested the connection on linkedin about a week ago with no response. Should I try and connect with the alum directly? Or would that be rude to go around the guy who said he would introduce me, but never did.
