Networking this time of year?
Hi, is it bad etiquette to try and network through email/phone around the holidays? Will I even get results?

Bad idea, I would at least wait until after New Years. I have a couple of info interviews lined up between Christmas and New Years, but only because I reached out a few weeks ago, and they wanted to talk then.
This is how I would feel getting cold-called/emailed during my holiday time:
that's stupid. just don't answer the email until later.
