Networking to an Interview? Looking for advice.
A little background:
I spoke to a VP @ a BB bank of a prominent division recently and he told me that he'd refer me to human resources for an interview in the upcoming January interview cycle (I go to a target that has a late OCR cycle). I emailed him with a question a week ago about possibly submitting my resume on my behalf for a networking session but he never got back to me. The application deadline is December 2nd and I want to make sure I have an interview at this bank.
Should I email him soon with a thank you for her help as a nudge to see if he actually did send my resume in?
