Networking with firms that do not post contact information
Most elite boutiques and MM IBs (e.g. Evercore, Lazard, etc.) do not post profiles and/or personal contact information on their websites. I come from a target and know no one at these banks. I have used LinkedIn and WSO to find names and e-mail address formats, but never get responses. I have gotten plenty of responses from banks that post profiles and contact information on their websites.
Are elite boutiques and MM IBs like BB banks where it is safe to say that networking will not get you in or is it more of a numbers game?
Would proximity allow you to visit one of their offices? If possible I would cold-call/email their office and spend a Friday afternoon meeting some people there.

Like.
Unfortunately, not.
In a few hours you might find the answer in my post for the day.
Anyone?
Do these banks recruit at your school? See if you can go to your career center to get the recruiter's contact info. Otherwise, just simply call them up and ask to speak with whoever is in charge of recruiting.
