NEW EMAIL FORMATS
We've all seen posts for people asking about email formats.
A few investment banks have rolled out new email formats, please see below.
Bear Stearns First.Last@jpmorgan.com or First.Last@chase.com
Lehman Brothers [email protected] or First.Last@barclays.com
Merrill..you guys get the joke.
But it might be a good idea to start a thread with the email formats for investment banks/other companies. Might be helpful going forward.
Too funny, hahaha.
funny you mention this - we were going to include this as well as recent deals in our 1-page company cheat sheet guide that will be released in the coming weeks. definitely needed.
Well Lehman AM umbrella (Neuberger Berman) turned into a standalone now.

Networking - Email Formats (Originally Posted: 12/17/2013)
I'm in a mad rush to get some last minute networking done and I've been having issues with a couple of firms. I sent a few emails to BAML analyst yesterday and had 4 of them bounced back, one of them actually went through.
The people I emailed didn't have anything weird about their names (e.g. going by middle name, two last names, etc.) and it's really uncommon for me to get that many bounce backs for baml. I used first.last@baml. I tried again today and the same thing happened. Is it possible that something is going on with IT? Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips would be much appreciated.
The other issue I'm having is with BlackRock. I did some networking last year and successfully used first.last@BlackRock but now, every email I've sent has gotten bounced back. Has their email format changed? I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

if it goes through your email might be blocked.
