New Intern - Starting Issues
Hello Everyone,
I need some advice (opinions) from some professionals. I have received an offer of an internship a newly formed boutique IB in London, following a 2 week unpaid internship over the Holiday season.
How do I respond to my boss asking what the pay situation is for the upcoming summer, as a student, I can't afford to pour away almost all my savings over summer when I have to pay for tuition next year.
I would really appreciate input on this one.
was this a formal offer? why not ask your boss (or whoever offered the internship) directly what the pay scale is?
Sounds more like an offer through a contact to me. Be careful!, you wouldn't want to piss him/her off
