New profile - in need of resume advise

Hello all,

I am currently looking for a job/internship position in IB – corpfin or PE, and would really appreciate some advice, as I have a slightly different profile than most undergrads: I am a French student finishing my Master’s from one of France’s best Business School (highly competitive – need to go through two years of special and intensive “preparatory class” and then a national contest before being accepted in the school). I am currently studying at one of the best US state colleges as an Exchange student, with a major in Finance (with access to undergrad and MBA lessons). I have past professional experience (6 months as a Sales/Trading assistant at a French IB + 6 months as a MC intern, working on their corpfin department), full professional fluency in 3 languages and good skills on VBA-coding.

My questions are the following: How should I make the most of my education/experience/skills on my resume? (i.e: should I specify the ranking of my French Business School / should I absolutely write an equivalent of the GPA / should I write about my experience in MC or just throw it off from my resume?) Are you aware of IBs and PE offering long-term internships (i.e 6 months)? What positions in corpfin could I aim for with my profile (summer intern, intern, junior analyst)? – I need to ask, being much more familiar with the opportunities in Europe.

Thank you in advance for your much appreciated help,

MonkeyF -
