New Transfer in the OCR Hustle: Input...?

So, I am transferring to a new University in January just in time to be in the thick of the OCR schedule. I won't have a GPA for the institution I will be interviewing at, so I am assuming I should just put "TBD" while listing my GPA at my previous institution. The GPA isn't a huge concern of mine, as it is out of my control and my experience should get a me a couple of interviews.

My question is, does anybody have any input as to how the recruiter will view my status at the university? Will I be at a disadvantage because it is my first semester there? It is a unique situation and I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. Any input is appreciated.
