If you look at some associate bonuses so far this yr they’re just taking the increased base from your bonus so it’s basically a wash. Seems like analysts may have done better last summer with bonus as a % of salary.
True but it's still better even if it's the same comp right? You'd rather have more in base than bonus since the base is guaranteed and the bonus isn't. Ideally the bonus as % of base stayed the same even with increased base, but it's still not the worst thing in the world.
