No bonus - Am I being robbed?

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this.

I work in a regional office of a lower MM bank.

Team of 7 MD's and the rest junior.

I am analyst 3 /associate 1 equivalent (grades are not as formal here as other banks) and I get paid no bonus!!!!

At first I thought this was because things are really bad and we are not making any money but this year was a "bad year" but we still did $8m in revenue.

I suppose my question is, given the performance of the business and size of the team is it understandable that I am not getting a bonus or would you expect that a team generating that amount of rev would pay bonus?

As an analyst, shouldn't you know that Revenue != Profit? Your bank could be making 8 mil in revenue, and not be making any money to give away in bonuses.

Or did everyone else at the bank get a bonus and you did not? If this is the case, did you just start working there or have you been working there for a while?

Since you joined recently shouldn't you have negotiated some sort of stub for your first year? Especially since it seems like you are coming in with experience.

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..

Sounds like this situation could be defused if OP would communicate more information to us, before he makes some rash decision and ensure he gets no bonus ever. Then they continually move him until his desk is in the file room.
