Is the above lateral flowthrough possible with a year in between each?

Primarily concerned about facing a steeper uphill battle when lateraling out of MM PCA back to IB at an EB/BB, which is the ultimate end goal. Would it make more sense to stick out another year at the boutique and lateral into MM/UMM IB then?
